I retired from the Ontario Provincial Police after serving 37 years in front line policing ending my career as the Inspector Detachment Commander of Temiskaming Detachment in 2015. for the past 30 years I have called Temiskaming Shores home and prior to that worked in several small communities working closely with Municipal Councils and committees in each community. I have been following Temiskaming Shores Council closely since pre-amalgamation and ran for council in the past two elections, getting a call to fill a vacancy in Council on October 15, 2024. I currently am Board Chair of Victim Services and Crime Stoppers. I am past President of the Chamber of Commerce and sit on the Ducks Unlimited Committee. I have volunteered for the Fall Fair, Village Noel, Bikers Reunion and North on Tap. I have also sat on other committees such as Doctor Recruitment and Retention and the City’s Committee of Adjustments. I am an avid boater and fisherman on Lake Temiskaming, enjoy home renovating, gardening and following my grandchildren as they play in Minor Hockey and Baseball. In my spare time I like to travel with my wife Janice. Being retired gives me time to focus and devote time to Council and my community.
